Dr. Alexander Carpenter is a distinguished professor and spiritual leader at this Ivy League class institution. And this has something to do with the latter rain and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

"Since the great apostasy, these gifts have rarely been manifested; and this is probably the reason why professed Christians generally believe that they were limited to the period of the Primitive Church. But is it not on account of the errors and unbelief of the Church that the gifts have ceased? And when the people of God shall attain to primitive faith and practice, as they certainly will by the proclamation of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, will not “The latter rain” Again develop the gifts?" Ah.

Those leaders can make all the "earnest appeals" (per Ted Wilson cited in Rediscovering a True Worship, Adventist World, Aug 2011, p 9) they want. As long as "errors and unbelief" (per R.F. Cottrell in Early Writings, p 133) are firmly entrenched in the General Conference, these men will have to wait a long a time.

Or will they?

PROUD PROFESSION

There are some men who "profess to present the truth to the world" (per Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 79): “I edit the Adult Sabbath School Bible Study Guides (the “Quarterly”), the official denominational teaching publication for the world SDA Church; the publisher is the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.” (Clifford Goldstein, Graffiti in the Holy of Holies: An Impassioned Response to Recent Attacks on the Sanctuary and Ellen White, Pacific Press Publishing, 2003, p 12) But preach "against it" (per Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 79), with messages like this:

ITS NOT PROTESTANT REFORMATION

Well, no, that's not what the General Conference brothers had in mind. In October of 2010, just 4 months after Brother Ted Wilson's stirring call for revival and reformation, the

The unity fest was organized by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists: "The 2010 delegation included Ganoune Diop, General Conference Global Mission Study Centers director; Cheryl Doss, General Conference Institute of World Mission director; and John McVay, Walla Walla University president. Diop functioned on the organizing committee before, during, and after the conference. At the final meeting in the Assembly Hall he was master of ceremonies. The Adventist delegation represented about 16 million Adventists". BUT MAYBE ITS DIET REFORM?

"On Sabbath, July 3, 2010, Elder Ted Wilson, our newly elected president of the General Conference, presented his inaugural address to over 70,000 souls gathered in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. In his message, he made an impassioned appeal for the Seventh-day Adventist Church to return to its roots and to pray for revival and reformation". In other words, the church had drifted away from its roots, or, as Pastor Bohr might put it, "fallen into apostasy". (per Stephen Bohr, Reflections on Revival and Reformation, Secrets Unsealed Ministry Update, Apr-Jun 2011, p 11)

ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS CONTROL KEY INSTITUTIONS

The roots of the church lay in coming out of Babylon, with some exposés of the Roman system.

Times have changed, and now the curriculum for the Seminary is set by full Roman Catholic priests. Who have also taken over the Adventist Review, and the Quarterly. Not forgetting their domination of the Hope Channel (documented here). Things have gone so far that the General Conference is openly promoting Big Bang Evolution (also courtesy of Rome).

THE PRIESTS HAVE A PERFECT RIGHT TO LIBERTY OF CONSCIENCE

Of course, "One of the most foundational of our distinctive Seventh-day Adventist beliefs, based directly on Scripture, is the belief in freedom of choice." (Ted N.C. Wilson, Freedom to Choose, Adventist World, May 2011, p 8)

The Jesuit priests who have "converted" to Seventh-day Adventism have every right in the world to continue serving the pope first, and Adventism second (or somewhere further down the line).

And as for all those graven images, well, "we do not want to protect inappropriate things that are completely against God’s law". (Ted N.C. Wilson, Freedom to Choose, Adventist World, May 2011, p 8)

BUT

"but we want everyone to be able to have the choice of believing in a loving and powerful God who has provided salvation for each of us. And this is where the reformation stops.

KING JOSIAH STYLE REFORMATION

King Josiah encountered a similar apostasy. So he:

1) called together all the elders (2 Kings 23:1)
2) went to the temple with the people and the priests (2 Kings 23:2)

And Elder Wilson has done all these things at his 2010 General Conference appearance. The elders were there, representing the global church. Lots of people were too. (per Stephen Bohr, Reflections on Revival and Reformation, Secrets Unsealed Ministry Update, Apr-Jun 2011, p 7)

Even the priests were present.

MISSED THE READING

There was music, and a parade of nations, but the reading fell out. Josiah "read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD." 2 Kings 23:2 NIV

But this is understandable, since it would take quite a while to read the whole Bible. Not to mention the Spirit of Prophecy books.

After the reading, all the people "pledged themselves" "to follow the LORD and keep his commands, statutes and decrees with all his heart and all his soul". 2 Kings 23:2

A FULL READING OF THE COVENANT WOULD HAVE OFFENDED THE IDOLATRY CROWD

Another reason for this failure was, of course, that the covenant speaks expressly against bowing down before idols. And so many Adventist churches are well stocked with these always popular symbols of deities.

But let's assume, purely for purposes of this study, that everyone knew what the Bible had to say and was willing to follow it.

Was the next step to pray for an indefinite period for revival and reformation?

"God’s messenger to the remnant church was serious about revival. The following statement from The Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, March 22, 1887 (Selected Messages, book 1, p. 121) is probably familiar. Read it again slowly and prayerfully, phrase by phrase: “A revival of true godliness among us is the greatest and most urgent of all our needs. To seek this should be our first work. There must be earnest effort to obtain the blessing of the Lord, not because God is not willing to bestow His blessing upon us, but because we are unprepared to receive it." (Ted N.C. Wilson, Prayer, the Foundation for Revival, Adventist World, May 2011)

Well, the apostate church in King Josiah's time was similarly "unprepared". So Josiah just put out a call for prayer?^{POWERFUL IN WORD AND DEED}
"4 The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the priests next in rank and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the LORD all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley and took the ashes to Bethel. ⁵ He did away with the idolatrous priests appointed by the kings of Judah to burn incense on the high places of the towns of Judah and on those around Jerusalem—those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun and moon, to the constellations and to all the starry hosts. ⁶ He took the Asherah pole from the temple of the LORD to the Kidron Valley outside Jerusalem and burned it there. He ground it to powder and scattered the dust over the graves of the common people." 2 Kings 23

And the asherah pole at the Pacific Union College high place has been removed? No chance of it.

In verses 8 - 9, we read about removal of corrupt priests from active ministry. That hasn't yet happened in Elder Wilson's current "revival and reformation".

King Josiah went on to smash and pull down all those heathen symbols.

There's nothing wrong with prayer, but prayer alone is not enough, since "There must be earnest effort to obtain the blessing of the Lord". (Ted N.C. Wilson, Prayer, the Foundation for Revival, Adventist World, May 2011)

The earnest effort required to 1) study the Bible, 2) agree with the Bible, 3) remove the heathen sex gods
from Adventist churches. Almost every church with heathen idols also has a member with a chainsaw.

SO WHY NOT?

It must be noted that it was the king that gave the order to the priests to remove "all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts". (per 2 Kings 23:4)

And if it was up to Dr. Ted Wilson, this reformation work would get started tomorrow.

If he was king.

As we learned here, the Jesuit priests in our church worship another king. Since these men just happen to dominate the principal committees, like that for the Hope Channel, Brother Wilson can't get permission to destroy the idols.

After all, the Jesuits are used to plenty of graven images in their mother church.

WHEN PRAYER ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH

And so our sincere brother prays every day that there might be revival and reformation.

MEANWHILE, SIX WARRIORS ARE ON THE WAY

And suddenly six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle-ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side.

THE WORD OF THE LORD

SINCE THE REFORMATION DIDN'T HAPPEN

over all the abominations that are done within it.”

⁵ To the others He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. ⁶ Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.”

THE STRIKE FORCE WILL START AT THE GC

So they began with the elders who were before the temple. ⁷ Then He said to them, “Defile the temple, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and killed in the city. Ezekiel 9 NKJV

Andrews University continues the work of Battle Creek College at its large campus in Berrien Springs, Michigan. As such, it is "the oldest Seventh-day Adventist college" (see at right). The seminary has been located on campus since 1960.

SENIOR CHURCH GROWTH EXPERT

Dr. Ron Clouzet is "director of the North American Division Evangelism Institute at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Mich." Located in Seminary Hall, the institute researches ways to enhance soul-winning and baptisms. Speaking of the Adventist church, he explains:

CONCERNED ABOUT GROWTH SITUATION

"We don't feel that we're growing very much, and that is a source of concern, especially for North America". (G. Jeffrey MacDonald, Adventists grow as other churches decline, The Christian Century, 16 Mar 2011)

TRYING EVERYTHING BUT THE TESTIMONIES

Together with his fellow professors at the Seminary, Dr. Clouzet is consulting theology books, doing surveys, holding brainstorming sessions, and trying this and that.

THESE SCHOLARS ARE PUZZLED

"Said the Lord: Many know not at what they stumble. They heed not the voice of God, but follow the sight of their own eyes and the understanding of their own hearts. Unbelief and skepticism have taken the place of faith. They have forsaken Me." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 74)

THE ANSWERS WERE EASY TO FIND

These learned professors and doctors of the law could easily find their answers right in the pages of the testimonies. But Ellen White didn't have a ThD, or DMin. In fact, no really solid educational credentials. These men couldn't bother themselves with so simple and uneducated a source.

And so they labor with their concerns.

But let's see what Ellen White had to say.

SPIRIT OF PROPHECY: MINISTERIAL TRAINING SHOULD NOT TAKE "A NUMBER OF YEARS".

"There is an urgent demand for laborers in the gospel field. Young men who design to enter the ministry cannot spend a number of years in obtaining an education. Teachers should have been able to comprehend the situation and adapt their instruction to the wants of this class. Special advantages should have been given them for a brief yet comprehensive study of the branches most needed to fit them for their work. But I have been shown that this has not been accomplished." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 27)

THE ANSWER TO DR. CLOUZET'S QUESTION

The prophet says, Let's get those workers out in the field. The theologians at Andrews University scorn this counsel. An aspiring minister who comes to Andrews for an education can reckon with a full four years for his undergraduate work, plus another 2.5 to 3 years for that MDiv.

CONTEMPT FOR THE TESTIMONIES

The priests at the seminary have ways of eating up prime years of the lives of young men who would like to be proclaiming the gospel.

Of course, these men are "professed Sabbathkeepers": "They dared not take a bold stand and say they did not believe the testimonies; but, while nominally believing both, they have obeyed neither. By their course of action they have denied both." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 52)

And why?

GOD HAD A PLAN FOR THE COLLEGE

Battle Creek College/Andrews University was established for a quick, debt-free education of competent ministers. That was good for church growth.

CONSPIRACY: ADVENTIST EDUCATION HAS ENEMIES

But not everyone wants to do things God's way: "I was shown that it is Satan’s purpose to prevent the attainment of the very object for which the college was established. Hindered by his devices,

its managers reason after the manner of the world and copy its plans and imitate its customs." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 22)

And we have proof this has happened?

AS CERTIFIED BY THE WORLD

The priests and friars at the Seminary have gone so far in their quest for the approval of the world that they've applied for, and received, accreditation from the ATS.

"The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) is a membership organization of more than 260 graduate schools that conduct post-baccalaureate professional and academic degree programs to educate persons for the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines. And now control of the curriculum has passed into the hands of the La Compañía de Jesús (Jesuit Order).

The Seminary's Board of Supervisors includes leading Jesuit scholars. "ENEMY OF GOD"

THE LORD FROWNS ON THIS CORRUPT INSTITUTION

And now, "Our college stands today in a position that God does not approve." "If its responsible men seek to reach the world’s standard, if they copy the plans and methods of other colleges, the frown of God will be upon our school." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 27)

WHILE THE SEMINARIANS ARE PARTYING

"Some have gone so far in this downward course, and followed so earnestly in the path of the Sodomites, that they are today nigh unto cursing,

THE PROFESSORS ARE TOO BUSY FOR REPROOFS AND WARNINGS

and the voice of reproof and warning is lost upon them." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 39)

Now it would be one thing if the seminarians confined their toga parties and "high times" to the cornfields of rural Michigan. But that isn't quite how these things work.

For whatever reason, the Seminary hasn't been disfellowshipped yet, and so is considered by Heaven to be a part of the Seventh-day Adventist church.

THE WHOLE CHURCH TAKES THE PUNISHMENT

And now the frown of God rests upon the church as a whole: "I saw that the frown of God was upon His people for their assimilation to the world." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 64)

AVENGING ANGEL ISSUES A WARNING TO WORLD-LOVING CHURCHMEN

The results are not difficult to guess. Church HQ buildings are destroyed by fire, as in England (Chris Hewett, Seventh Day Adventist Church headquarters, in Watford, due to reopen, Watford Observer, 2 Mar 2011) and Spokane (Meghann M. Cuniff, Church offices damaged in morning fire, The Spokesman-Review, 28 Dec 2008)

"Today I received a letter from Elder Daniells regarding the destruction of the Review office by fire. I feel very sad as I consider the great loss to the cause." "But I was not surprised by the sad news, for in the visions of the night I have seen an angel standing with a sword as of fire stretched over Battle Creek. Once, in the daytime while my pen was in my hand, I lost consciousness, and it seemed as if this sword of flame were turning first in one direction and then in another. Disaster seemed to follow disaster." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 8, p 97) Haiti. Japan. You name it.

Oh, the brethren try to spin things positively. The buildings are insured. They rebuild.

At Andrews, the continuation of Battle Creek College, the administrators have not forgotten the lessons of the past. Now they build with stone.

It may be these clever academics have frustrated the avenging angel with the fiery sword.

But that frown is still there.

Our people donate to the childrens' offerings, the tithes, Adventist World Radio, etc. But the results of evangelistic campaigns tend to be disappointing. Say a church sends out 5,000 fliers, and gets only one baptism from an effort. Or a full series, with only 5 baptisms, where there should be 30.

All because the Lord continues to frown on the church, because the theologians at the seminary continue to scorn his instruction. (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 27)

These men claim they are perplexed at why growth is slow. (Ron Clouzet cited in G. Jeffrey MacDonald, Adventists grow as other churches decline, The Christian Century, 16 Mar 2011) But this is just a fulfillment of prophecy: "The days are fast approaching when there will be great perplexity and confusion." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 80)

In these troubled times, "Every wind of doctrine will be blowing." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 80) Like Elder Clifford Goldstein's Fortune Cookie Theology.

SEMINARY PROFESSORS WILL NOW BE REDUNDANT

"Those who have trusted to intellect, genius, or talent will not then stand at the head of rank and file. They did not keep pace with the light. Those who have proved themselves unfaithful will not then be entrusted with the flock." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 80)

SURE THEY HAVE THEIR DOCTORAL DEGREES

"In the last solemn work few great men will be engaged. They are self-sufficient, independent of God, and He cannot use them." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 80)

WHAT CAN FAITHFUL BELIEVERS DO TO GET OUT FROM UNDER THE FROWN?

We live in days when the Seminary is stacked up with professors exhibiting a slavish devotion to Rome. Even the General Conference has a lot of these doctoral types. Who love nothing more than an evening of wine with their fellow priests in Rome and Geneva.

What can ordinary members do when their knees get sore from praying for revival and reformation, and they want to see some concrete results?

EXPOSING THOSE "MULTITUDES OF FALSE BRETHREN"

"When trees without fruit are cut down as cumberers of the ground, when multitudes of false brethren are distinguished from the true, then the hidden ones will be revealed to view, and with hosannas range under the banner of Christ. Those who have been timid and self-distrustful will declare themselves openly for Christ and His truth." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 81)

There will always be those who snicker at "conspiracy theories", and pretend that the Seminary is a legitimate, serious institution trying to defend the theology of the church.

The pen of inspiration plainly states that there are "multitudes of false brethren". These men just cumber the ground, while teaching the latest in Romanist theologies, bringing the frown of the Lord upon the church.

Now is the time for those who love the church the most to expose the false brethren.

And then will come the glorious return on investment (ROI) from all those tracts and books distributed, and the millions of dollars of gospel TV programming: "The seeds of truth that are being sown by missionary efforts will then spring up and blossom and bear fruit. Souls will receive the truth".

THE LORD WILL SWING INTO ACTION WHEN THE TREES WITHOUT FRUIT ARE CUT DOWN AND THE FALSE BRETHREN ARE EXPOSED

"When the overflowing scourge shall pass through the earth, when the fan is purging Jehovah’s floor, God will be the help of His people." (Ellen White, Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p 82)

HANDS-ON RESEARCH IN RELIGIOUS VIOLENCE

For years, Dr. Osborn has been studying about religious violence, and now it was time to get into some hands-on research.

But could he really do abuse or injury to the content and meaning of someone's lectures?

He did his best, with this unsupported generalization: "The Gospel according to Walter is nothing other than a 21^st century Gnostic revivalism." (Ron Osborn, The Dark Fantasy World of Walter Veith, Spectrum, 31 Oct 2011)

So, is this really true, or just fabrication?

WHAT DR. VEITH REALLY TEACHES ON THE GOSPEL

"The view of salvation must be unchangeable because God doesn’t change His modus operandi of salvation, does He? He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. It must be consistent. PROPHET OSBORN GETS IT WRONG

Dr. Osborn's unsourced contention that "The Gospel according to Walter is nothing other than a 21^st century Gnostic revivalism" (Ron Osborn, The Dark Fantasy World of Walter Veith, Spectrum, 31 Oct 2011) is not just unsupported. Its false.

Dr. Veith makes plain that the gospel is everlasting and never changes. Its the same now as it was 6000 years ago.

So, how did Dr. Osborn go astray?

NASTY CASE OF PLAGIARISM

Is it just a coincidence that he violated the standard plagiarism policies of the University of Southern California?

The Adventist church is a Christian fellowship. Just like the one Jesus managed long ago when he was on this earth.

And, yes, there were some members, who he knew about, who were not believers:

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. John 6:64

So Jesus went and disfellowshiped the Satanist infiltrators?

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. Luke 22:3

Not at all.

"Christ’s servants are grieved as they see true and false believers mingled in the church. They long to do something to cleanse the church. Like the servants of the householder, they are ready to uproot the tares. But Christ says to them, “Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest.”" (Ellen White, Christ's Object Lessons, p 71)

Brother Ted Wilson has been running a huge campaign for revival and reformation. And that campaign will take care of these wicked men?

According to the sure word of prophecy, the answer is No. "The tares and the wheat are to grow together until the harvest; and the harvest is the end of probationary time." (Ellen White, Christ's Object Lessons, p 71)

Having gotten that little matter out of the way, why deprive yourself of the high-quality fellowship?

You show up at the local church every Sabbath. Enjoy a solid Word from the Lord without having to worry about false doctrines. And then, from time to time, there is a wonderful fellowship meal where you can really get to know the saints.

This experience is habit forming, and before you know it, you'll be wanting more. Like the mid-week prayer meeting.

Of course, mere attendance and fellowship alone are not enough, since "If they had the glory of God in view, they would feel for perishing souls around them; and as they realized their perilous situation, would take hold with energy, exercising faith in God, and hold up the hands of
His servants, that they might boldly, yet in love, declare the truth and warn souls to lay hold upon it before the sweet voice of mercy should die away." (Ellen White, Early Writings, p 120)

Obviously an encouraging word and prayer is good, but it takes cash to run a ministry. And there are a lot of faithful servants out there. How to support them all? Well, just pay tithe. The money gets spread around to the Lord's servants.

Jesus knew what was going on. And he tolerated the presence of infiltrators in his operation. So why should we do differently?

PUSHING BACK THE FRONTIERS OF SCIENCE

Dr. Kaatz likes to keep his university on the cutting edge of research.

A thorny problem had arisen, and so he surveyed his well-stocked stable of talented academics.

The problem had to do with anatomy, so naturally Dr. Kaatz called upon his top biology professor Dr. Gary Bradley.

These brothers met for a brainstorming session at the house of Dr. Jim Beach, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.

Dr. Kaatz opened the session with a brief description of the research problem. Which concerned church administrator Dan Jackson.

Well, what did these scholars need to know about Brother Jackson's anatomy? He has two eyes, two ears, and a very small moustache.

But anyone can see that.

So, what kind of research was still needed?

Well, it concerned body parts of Pastor Jackson which most people don't see. More specifically, his reproductive department.

The man has some children. His wife Donna (Dreams brand of perfume) looks well-satisfied. So, what was the problem?

HAD THE PRESIDENT BEEN CASTRATED?

Well, it concerned the pastor's balls, or rather, alleged lack thereof. You see, La Sierra University wanted to determine if Brother Jackson was a eunuch.

Progress was painfully slow, until Dr. Bradley finally turned to his "secret weapon" -- the research tool that had enabled him to diagnose top Adventist evangelist David Asscherick as insane.

These illustrious pillars of La Sierra University studied their research materials (see at right) carefully.

BASIC GENETIC RESEARCH

After cracking that tough nut, the experts got down to serious business, with the question as to just what was Dr. Ricardo Graham?

SUCH PRODUCTIVE PROFESSORS

All in all, it was a very productive session. Now they needed to let the world know.

How lucky that a member of the board of trustees dropped in.

Dr. Bradley and Dr. Kaatz informed him of their research breakthroughs, and shared some of those "scholarly resources".

The trustee, Brother Darnell, was suitably impressed, and passed on the findings to some other people.

BASE INGRATITUDE

When word got through to Brother Jackson, he was not amused. You see, he's decided to restore donor base confidence in the church organization.

CLEANING HOUSE

Brother Dan has observed how independent ministries like Amazing Facts and Secrets Unsealed market to Adventists who want maximum results for their donation dollars.

Since taking power, he's moved to clean up waste, in an effort to deliver the same excellent value for money.

Now it may be that Steve Gallimore thought the president was just a Sissy Boy. He'd been running Life Talk, in about an hour a day. The rest of the time he spent chilling at home. While his wife Shari ran the finances. No oversight board, of course. And the whole thing funded by the North American Division.

Brother Jackson came down, fired Brother Gallimore, and basically shut down the operation.

It is Written had been doing OK. But Brother Jackson wanted better. And so he went straight to the ministry that promises, and delivers, the shortest distance between donation dollars and baptisms, and brought in John Bradshaw. Who's been doing a great job.

CAREFUL STEWARDSHIP

Brother Jackson is placing an emphasis on careful management of resources. And didn't see why church monies should be spent on drunken ramblings dressed up as "research".

Pacific Union Conference president Ricardo Graham agreed, and so he talked individually with the La Sierra researchers, and got them to resign.

BUT ITS A COLD, COLD WORLD

The scientists got to thinking - where else can I have it this easy?

Its a daunting world out there, with heavy demands for footnotes in peer-reviewed papers.

And so they decided to file a lawsuit to force La Sierra to reinstate them. After all, how could the school possibly get along without their liquid-inspired researches?

SHOULD THE WOLFPACK BE BROUGHT BACK?

Adventist leadership says it was a drunken party.

The researchers, by counsel, claim they were exercising academic freedom.

But what difference does it make, since the results speak for themselves. Brother Jackson is no eunuch.

As the Wolfpack is finding out now. The hard way.

And, no, Dr. Graham is not a monkey either.

So send the Wolfpack back to Bangkok!

I have been attending Seventh Day Grace for 5 years. This blog post is filled with so many lies and slander you should be ashamed.

Here are the fact about Seventh Day Grace (SDG) and Clifford Goldstein's affiliation.

SDG is a non-denominational congregation and is not affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church. This is stated correctly in your blog.

I find it humorous that SDG is called a cult. We are a congregation of about 35 people. We do have a minister, but rather we rotate about 12 different ministers to preach on Sabbath. 3 of the ministers are Seventh Day Adventists others range from Baptist ministers to general Christian Non-Denominational. We have no aberrant theology.

Clifford Goldstein preaches about 1 to 2 times a year. He is not the "Founder" of SDG.

SDG is not an "Adventist Hater" church. Quotes from Ellen G. White are in some sermons. Our main focus is Gospel based.

Many member would consider themselves to be Adventist.

The slogan "Come as You Are" denotes that we don't care if you show up to church wearing jeans and a tee shirt or a suit. People dress the way they want. We don't care.

SDG music is contemporary Christian praise music. Many Adventist churches are playing the same music we are.

So please show more "Grace" in future post.

He would be working to build up our church if he tried to preach the gospel, and brought people into our church.

But that's not how Elder Goldstein does business.

He had such a problem with the "little old lady" (Clifford Goldstein, More To Fear From Within, Adventist Today, 1 Nov 2008), that he decided to build up a church where Ellen White, and her teachings, are just not mentioned. A cult which is in no way a part of the Seventh-day Adventist church. (per Randy Hull, Spokesperson, Seventh Day Grace, reference)

OFFSHOOT

Elder Goldstein's Seventh Day Grace cult is composed of people "who have been drawing off from the body". (Ellen White, Testimonies For The Church Volume One (1855-1868), p 333) They used to worship in Seventh-day Adventist churches, but now they have their own offshoot cult.

According to Ellen White, these people "will make shipwreck of faith, and by his unwise course become a signal warning to those who choose to go independent of the body." (Ellen White, Testimonies For The Church Volume One (1855-1868), p 333)

DIDN'T LIKE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, SO STARTED THEIR OWN CULT

And stay that way!!!

"I saw great iniquity and vileness in the churches; yet their members profess to be Christians." (Ellen White, Early Writings, p 274)

Repentance? Restitution?

You won't be bothered with that sort of preaching at Elder Goldstein 's Seventh Day Grace cult!

"The existing confusion of conflicting creeds and sects is fitly represented by the term “Babylon,” which prophecy (Revelation 14:8; 18:2) applies to the world-loving churches of the last days." (Ellen White, Patriarchs and Prophets, p 124)

Real Adventists (as shown at right) tend to discuss all ten commandments, and that was just way too much for this pack of unrepentant sinners.

Either the Jesuits fulfil the duties of their calling, or not. In the first instance, they must be considered as the bitterest enemies of the Protestant faith; in the second, as

And what better way to seek "the destruction of Protestantism" than 1) taking Protestant church salaries, 2) going "independent of the body" (per Ellen White, Testimonies For The Church Volume One (1855-1868), p 333) when they attend church, 3) promoting disrespect for 9 out of the 10 Commandments, and 4) spiking their website with malware.

He claims to be working for the Adventist church, but there is a total "lack of moral integrity and honesty from those who claim to be Seventh-day Adventists, and who even take paychecks from the denomination, and yet who hold views that anyone with a modicum of intellectual honesty knows flatly contradict what it means to be a Seventh-day Adventist." A VERY SIMPLE APPROACH

For those who will accept any line to quiet the voice of conscience, Elder Goldstein of the General Conference has made this classic pronouncement: "You can get something more accurate out of a fortune cookie than from the Word of God". (Clifford Goldstein, reference)

THE ORDER IS WELL-REPRESENTED IN EVERY COURT

"The Jesuits countered the gains of the Reformation movement, setting up seats of opposition in every court". A LITTLE LESS HARD TO SWALLOW

Of course, not every Adventist is that gullible. So many have Bibles, and know how to use them. BUT SOME ADVENTISTS JUST AREN'T FOOLED PERIOD

Not everyone, though. There is a more discriminating crowd, that really doesn't believe much of what they read in the "Adventist" Review. They love the church, but realize that Jesuits are positioned at the key points of control. Solid Adventists like Dr. Colin Standish. He's known for years about this infiltration: "Of course there are Jesuits in our church." (Russell R. Standish, Colin D. Standish, The General Conference Confronts Apostasy, Hartland Publications, 2006, p 201)

So what kind of deceptions are available for this group? Well, there are a lot of new versions of the Bible out there. "After Vatican II the Jesuit Karl Rahner was entrusted with the task of reconciling all the churches and religions with Rome under the pretext that salvation could be found in all confessions provided that they acknowledge the supremacy of Rome. In order to achieve this objective, the role of Christ would have to be minimized." (Walter Veith, Truth Matters, Amazing Discoveries, 2007, p 203)

And because the role of Christ is prominent in the old Bible, some new translations were needed -- plenty of translations. Translations with significant changes to key passages about Jesus. (Walter Veith, Total Onslaught - 214B - Changing the Word, Amazing Discoveries)

THE SOURCES - KING JAMES VERSION

"The King James Version of the Bible was translated from the Greek Textus Receptus in 1611". REVISED VERSION & MOST MODERN VERSIONS - BASED OFF CATHOLIC "FIND"

In 1881, "Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort publish The New Testament in The Original Greek. This edition took 28 years to write and was based mostly on the Codex Vaticanus". The Codex Vaticanus of Greek text was "found" in the Vatican library in the 1850s. Supposedly, it had been there since 1481, but "was not made available" earlier. There are some Christians who claim that Elder Goldstein's theology is not especially close to the scriptures, but, as Loma Linda University professor Dr. David Larson puts it:

"From my point of view, fundamentalistic scientists are no more intellectually attractive than fundamentalistic scripturalists. What's worse, together they often make life unpleasant for the rest of us by their intense, unending and pointless conflict." "Fundamentalistic scripturalists"? That's the Bible crowd. People like Ken Cox and David Asscherick, who present the Word with power and boldness.

These "troublemakers" in the Bible crowd have been making things really, really uncomfortable for some of the more progressive theologians in the church.

IF THE BIBLE DEFINES VALUES

Somehow Brother Paulsen's position "For us as a community it has always been of utmost importance to stay close to the Scripture. Faith has that as its final point of reference. We must not allow ourselves to come adrift from the Bible in defining our values and in stating what we hold." SOME CERTAINTIES CONFLICT WITH "FASHIONABLE" THEOLOGY

And if these professors don't believe -- with "certainty"? Then there comes that "certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." Hebrews 10:27

ADVENTISTS PICK TOP SCHOLARS FOR SACRED ASSIGNMENTS

Ah, but that Bible kind of certainty just repels our Adventist professor. Apparently it would interfere with his demanding assignment: "To those who teach at our colleges and universities, let me say that you have a demanding, often difficult, but sacred assignment." The Adventists have selected top scholars for their key "sacred assignments". Walter J. Veith / Jesuit Infiltration Tactics

Dr. Walter Veith is the international authority on Jesuit-orchestrated changes in modern Bible translations.

Of course, these priests claim authority over Scripture: "it is -- in good catholic fashion -- the church that controls the Scripture and not vice versa". (Dr. Ekkehardt Mueller, Benedict XVI and Jesus, Reflections - A BRI Newsletter, January 2008, p 6)

So they published an article in their house journal Reflections in an attempt to discredit Dr. Veith. The article admitted 1) there had been many changes made to the modern versions, 2) they were based off papers "found" in the Vatican library, 3) at least one material change was made which watered down the Christ-centered theology of the Bible. Author Kovar thought these changes weren't all that bad, and expressed his wish that Dr. Veith would just pipe down.

WHY THEY CARE

"in the nineteenth century the Jesuits penetrated the Anglican Church in force. This infiltration led to the formation of what became known as the Oxford movement early in that century. This movement among young Anglican clerics upheld the re-introduction of Catholic practices". The Oxford movement dominated the efforts to revise the King James Version of the Bible in the 1870s. "RE-INTRODUCTION OF CATHOLIC PRACTICES"

"The Early Reformers, when they came out of Rome, removed them [organs] as the monuments of idolatry. Luther called the organ an ensign of Baal". (John McClintock and James Strong, Cyclopaedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature, vol. 6, Harper & Brothers, 1883, p 762)

Today, Adventist churches typically have organs. And so many more of the symbols of idolatry.

Adventist leaders organized a celebration of this unity with Rome at Edinburgh 2010.

BUT "ENEMIES OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM" (PER KNOTT)?

"there can be no doubt that Benedict XVI, like his predecessor, favors using the instruments of civil government to enforce a Sunday day of rest". (Bill Knott, Adventist Review Editor, Those Conspiracy Theories, Adventist Review, 10 Apr 2008, p 5)

"The Catholic Church has, in the past, tried to prohibit the reading and distribution of the Word of God. In fact, the Scriptures were listed under the: "Index of Prohibited Books" by Pope Paul IV in 1599 and Archbishop Adolphus in 1462 broke up the printing establishments of Gutenberg and Schoeffer in order to prevent their circulation." (Walter J. Veith, Truth Matters, Amazing Discoveries, 2007, p 207) And now you can see why the BRI is so irritated by Dr. Veith's study and promotion of the Word of God.

DAYS OF TRIUMPH AND GLORY

There were times when some Adventist leaders disagreed with Dr. Veith, but now they are coming together to confirm his work. The Adventist Review proclaims that the Adventist church has "ecumenical tendencies". (Bruinsma, supra) Top Adventist officials run the principal ecumenical conferences!! (Graz, supra)

THE GENERAL CONFERENCE WAY

The Bible took a different position on this unity movement:

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2 Cor. 6:14

Obviously the Adventist theologians think there can be a lot of "communion" of "light with darkness": "I have been involved in these interchurch conversations for more than 20 years and am convinced that they are of significant value." GENERAL CONFERENCE BUILDING BRIDGES TO BABYLON WITH UNITY TALKS

"The fallen denominational churches are Babylon. Babylon has been fostering poisonous doctrines, the wine of error." (Ellen White, Evangelism, p 365) Apparently the top Adventist theologians love the taste of this wine (full investigative report exposes General Conference Executives drunk on the wine of Babylon).

OFFICIAL GENERAL CONFERENCE POLICY

And what does the General Conference, as an official body, think of ecumenism? "Few would wish to deny that ecumenism has had laudable aims and some positive influences. Its great goal is visible Christian unity." http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/other_documents/other_doc3.html

Yes, the official Adventist website says: We like the idea of unity.

A SPECIAL AWARD FOR "THE ANTICHRIST"

Unity? What kind?

Back in the old days, Christendom was run from the Central. When the pope spoke, people obeyed. And if they weren't quick enough, or got some "funny" ideas, tools like immolation and the inquisition were available, and widely used.

But then the Protestant Reformation came around, and there was a long period of disunity. This involved major wars, and some heavy-duty preaching, with the pope often described as antichrist:

"When the papal bull reached Luther, he said: "I despise and attack it, as impious, false. . . . It is Christ Himself who is condemned therein. . . . I rejoice in having to bear such ills for the best of causes. Already I feel greater liberty in my heart; for at last I know that the pope is antichrist, and that his throne is that of Satan himself."--D'Aubigne, b. 6, ch. 9." (Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, pp 141, 142)

WAIST DEEP IN ECUMENISM

"Dr. Bert B. Beach has served as General Secretary for the Seventh-day Adventist Council on Inter-Church Relations since 1980. He also served as secretary for the Conference of Secretaries of Christian World Communions from 1970-2002." http://parl.gc.adventist.org/aboutus/staff/beach.html Probably the high point of his unity work came when he presented a gold medal to his superintendent, the man that Luther and Ellen White described as antichrist, on 18 May 1977.

Dr. Beach had been doing ecumenical work in Rome, and had no problem getting in to see the boss. "In connection with a recent consultative meeting of secretaries of World Confessional Families held in Rome, B. B. Beach, secretary of the Northern Europe-West Africa Division, one of the 15 participants and the only Adventist in the group, presented a book and a medallion to Pope Paul VI on May 18.

WORSHIPING THE BEAST

The book presented was the Adventist missionary book Faith in Action, and the medallion was a gold-covered symbol of the Seventh-day Adventist Church." (W. D. Eva, Book, Medallion Presented to Pope, The Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, August 11, 1977, p 23)

Out in the churches, the faithful Adventist believers return their tithes and offerings to the storehouse, which spends the money on gold tribute for the boss (pictured at left).

Such a special award! And for what? "Looking back, Adventists see centuries of persecution and anti-Christian manifestations of the papal power." http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/other_documents/other_doc3.html Ellen White agrees: "the mandate of Rome was not without effect. Prison, torture, and sword were weapons potent to enforce obedience." (Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p 142)

GETTING IN BED WITH ROME

And the gold medal is just a token of what the Adventist leadership has given up to get with Rome. They teach the same theology of origins (Big Bang evolution). General Conference leaders are even recruiting members for the Roman Catholic church. "Besides a sinful union with the world, the churches that separated from Rome present other of her characteristics." (Ellen White, The Great Controversy, p 383)

"The advancing centuries witnessed a constant increase of error in the doctrines put forth from Rome. Even before the establishment of the papacy, the teachings of heathen philosophers had received attention and exerted an influence in the church. Many who professed conversion still clung to the tenets of their pagan philosophy, and not only continued its study themselves, but urged it upon others as a means of extending their influence among the heathen. Serious errors were thus introduced into the Christian faith." (Ellen White, The Great Controversy, p 58)

In Ellen White's day, things were different:

"The world is against us, the popular churches are against us, the laws of the land will soon be against us. God has committed to us the special truths for this time to make known to the world." (Ellen White, Testimonies, vol. 5, p 236)

But nowadays, the truths have been toned down, and:

"Our presence in such a group, which represents the Christian world, has been extremely helpful for our church around the world. It has shown that we are a Christian Church recognized by the Christian family of leaders. We are not a cult or a dangerous group of fanatics, but a Christian denomination." What priorities!

Sure the Bible has different ideas:

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 (King James Version)

But that's the Bible. These men prefer the favor of Rome to the favor of the Lord.

You see, they're just a "Christian Church", like all those others. "Many of the Protestant churches

LIKE OUR CHURCH

are following Rome's example of iniquitous connection with "the kings of the earth"--the state churches, by their relation to secular governments; and other denominations, by seeking the favor of the world. And the term "Babylon"--confusion--may be appropriately applied to these bodies, all professing to derive their doctrines from the Bible, yet divided into almost innumerable sects, with widely conflicting creeds and theories." (Ellen White, The Great Controversy, p 383)

ADVENTIST CHURCH SCORES -- GETS THE FAVOR OF THE WORLD

"Seeking the favor of the world"? "These encounters have resulted in much good, as stereotypes have been broken down and misunderstandings on both sides have been removed. On the Adventist side, a great benefit has been the dropping of the false designation of our church as a “cult” or “sect.”" (William G. Johnsson, Adventists and Muslims in Conversation - Breaking down prejudice by building bridges, Adventist World, April 2009, p 38)

BUT NOT EVERY ADVENTIST HAS GIVEN IN TO THE ALLURES OF BABYLON

There are plenty of individual believers out there who have remained faithful, but as Isaiah put it:

"My people, those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths." Isaiah 3:12, World English Bible

In the midst of this calculated deception, "God has not left Himself without witnesses among nations [and churches] living in spiritual darkness." (Angel Manuel Rodríguez, director of the Biblical Research Institute of the General Conference, BIBLE QUESTIONS - Christ and Salvation, Adventist World, April 2009, p 40) Faithful witnesses like our solid Adventist brother Stephen Bohr, who warns of the dangers of following after the beast. WHICH SPIRIT IS BEHIND THIS UNITY MOVEMENT

"The Spirit implanted the grace of Christ in their hearts and without knowing about Jesus they have been blessed by His saving grace.

This work of the Spirit does not legitimize non-Christian religions or allow for religious pluralism." But that's the Holy Spirit.

The General Conference is into "religious pluralism" (ecumenism):

The first of a series of official conversations has been planned for the near future." (William G. These men are at the World Council of Churches, they hand out a gold medal to the pope , and adorn their churches with the trappings of Rome. And "This is just the beginning." (William G. Johnsson, Adventists and Muslims in Conversation - Breaking down prejudice by building bridges, Adventist World, April 2009, p 39)

Since, according to Dr. Rodríguez, "This work of the Spirit does not legitimize non-Christian religions or allow for religious pluralism." (Angel Manuel Rodríguez, BIBLE QUESTIONS - Christ and Salvation, Adventist World, April 2009, p 40), these apostles of ecumenism must be motivated by "other spirits":

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1 Tim. 4:1
