Clifford Goldstein / Jesuit Presence at Adventist GC

God is taking action "to bring His people up united upon the only true platform" (Ellen White, Testimonies For The Church, vol. 1, p 333): "My brothers and sisters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Lord has given us one of the greatest gifts possible in the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy. Just as the Bible is not outdated or irrelevant, neither is the testimony of God’s end-time messenger." NOT EVERY ADVENTIST LEADER AGREES

"Demonic possession? Insanity? Deception? Any one of these options could be a logical and rational explanation for someone who, among other things, described Pilate's wife's dream (DA, 732), depicted life on other planets (EW, 39) , (PP 85) and detailed Satan's jealousy of Christ in heaven (ST 13-19)." He had such a problem with the "little old lady" (Clifford Goldstein, More To Fear From Within, Adventist Today, 1 Nov 2008), that he decided to build up a church where Ellen White, and her teachings, are just not mentioned. A cult which is in no way a part of the Seventh-day Adventist church. (per Randy Hull, Spokesperson, Seventh Day Grace, reference)

OFFSHOOT

Elder Goldstein's Seventh Day Grace cult is composed of people "who have been drawing off from the body". (Ellen White, Testimonies For The Church, vol. 1, p 333) They used to worship in Seventh-day Adventist churches, but got tired of hearing about the ten commandments.

And stay that way!!!

"I saw great iniquity and vileness in the churches; yet their members profess to be Christians." (Ellen White, Early Writings, p 274)

Repentance? Restitution?

You won't be bothered with that sort of preaching at Elder Goldstein's Seventh Day Grace cult!

THEY FOUND ONE COMMANDMENT OUT OF TEN THAT THEY COULD HANDLE!!!

After a huddle, these people decided the only commandment they could handle would be the day of rest.

And so the name. Its Seventh Day Grace!!! They get together on the Sabbath, celebrate the fourth commandment, and as for all the rest of those commandments? Well, that's where grace comes in!! Grace: "the unmerited love and favor of God toward mankind". http://www.yourdictionary.com/grace

"Said the angel, “God will not smell in their assemblies. Selfishness, fraud, and deceit are practiced by them without the reprovings of conscience." (Ellen White, Early Writings, p 274) After all, "Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound." Romans 5:20

Elder Goldstein provides the theological cover for this:

And this is the secret of Elder Goldstein's success: "they had made fearful progress in the art of flattering the bad passions, and winking at the vices, of those who had recourse to their ministry in order to make, as they believed, their peace with God". (Giovanni Battista Nicolini, History of the Jesuits: their origin, progress, doctrines, and designs, George Bell and Sons, 1879, p 236)

But doesn't he have a high post at the GC?

"Wicked men are wicked men still, and according to the deception they practiced upon those who were beloved of God, and according to the confusion brought into the church, so will be their punishment; their sins will not remain covered, but will be exposed in the day of God’s fierce anger." (Ellen White, Early Writings, p 98)

As Nicolini puts it: "the Jesuits, by their very calling, by the very essence of their institution, are bound to seek, by every means, right or wrong, the destruction of Protestantism.

BUT THEY'RE "JUST DOING THEIR DUTY"

This is the condition of their existence, the duty they must fulfil, or cease to be Jesuits. Accordingly, we find them in this evil dilemma. Either the Jesuits fulfil the duties of their calling, or not. In the first instance, they must be considered as the bitterest enemies of the Protestant faith; in the second, as bad and unworthy priests, and in both cases, therefore, to be equally regarded with aversion and distrust." BUT THEY SURE KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!

And what better way to seek "the destruction of Protestantism" than 1) taking Protestant church salaries, 2) going "independent of the body" (per Ellen White, Testimonies For The Church, vol. 1, p 333) when they attend church, 3) promoting disrespect for 9 out of the 10 Commandments, and 4) spiking their website with malware.

He claims to be working for the Adventist church, but there is a total "lack of moral integrity and honesty from those who claim to be Seventh-day Adventists, and who even take paychecks from the denomination, and yet who hold views that anyone with a modicum of intellectual honesty knows flatly contradict what it means to be a Seventh-day Adventist."
